Yep me too had to register and it wouldn't take Frank and brenda, so I'm here on my own Frank,
I had the same trouble with 'old techo' so had to use 'oldtecho' but then later I found you can change your display name to whatever you like in profile/personal.
So Brenda can be reinstated..... unless you are secretly enjoying this newfound freedom

PS A BIG thanks to those working in the background to keep the forum alive, Looks like there are a few people jumping on board to keep it going, so your efforts are worth it and appreciated

Now all Clancy has to do is work out how Proboard operates and where to find little upgrades to make the board easier to use. If you need some pointers give me a yell.

I don't think Proboards has been decided on to be used into the future as yet, there are other alternatives. Maybe, maybe not. I think Clancy has enough on his plate at the moment in trying to save what is in the original forum.

I am aware of that Lance, just made the offer because I have been using Proboards for a few years as you know. There are a lot of plug ins available to make it more user friendly.

Thank you very much for that offer of help and if we go that way I will contact you when I have spare time. Thank you to the other member who at short notice did most of the groundwork in finding and setting up this proboard site.

Just a quick reminder that the original CandM forum is still active, so please continue posting there to show that it is wanted and maybe we can help convince EMG to leave things as they are. candm.com.au/forum/index.php

Just looking at the Index page of CandM and find it a bit hard to understand why EMG would want to close it. In total there are 96 users online :: 5 registered, 2 hidden and 89 guests (based on users active over the past 10 minutes) Most users ever online was 599 on Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:11 am600 online at one time, mostly Guests, but still they are looking at/reading an EMG site. Surely that's got to be a good thing for management..........

I'm sure 4wd action had good membershop too, but it made nada bit of difference to tgem We seem to be just numbers in the cost cutting business

I'm here too. Can anyone tell me how to save posts from a thread on the old forum? I think it may have been mentioned but I can't find it. Have a look here. Bussy has made a suggestion that seems to work well and Clancy has made the job a little easier for the long threads.

I think you have to do a copy and past into word.
