How on earth did the train miss the truck. I bet both drivers had to change their undies after this. Barry

Trains and vehicles and people, Trains are deceptive in there speed and can be difficult to judge,so one should if in doubt give them way. Incident at my work at Rosehill races one Saturday afternoon myself and a co-worker where going to the carpark for staff after we had finished. The staff carpark was on the other side of the train line that goes though Rosehill station. The raiways had a inspector there take make sure we could cross the line with safety because it was not a normal designated crossing. We approach the railway chapa and he stopped us as there was a Tangara train leaving the platform,a bar man ignored the stop command from the train inspector, well let me tell you this Tangara train has rubber wheels and is quite it was there before you could blink, the barman just missed being killed by a nats hair. The verbal dressing down from the inspector was something to see,the barman had taken offence from the inspector and came back to remonstrated, the inspector get in this protesting dickheaads face and explains that's it his job to help peel f knuckles like him of the track after there been torn apart it was the best dressing down I have ever heard he looked at us to say something, we just said mate your a dickhead and we back up the inspector 💯%.

I saw that reel on Facebook a few weeks ago and I couldn't believe the number of DH that made excuses for the truckie Oh he must have had the sun in his eyes They were probably trees in the way and he couldn't see the train coming He might have been concentrating on other traffic And so on and so on FFS if I had done something like that when driving a bus, I'd have lost my job that very day
PS I'm sure the car seen crossing the tracks early in that reel also went through while the lights were going Luckily the train driver had done the right thing and slowed for the crossing, hitting the brakes would have done nothing to prevent a crash in his case
