Has anyone used a thingy called Docusign. I have received some paperwork that needs to be signed by this method. I have googled and still looking but I thought some of the forum members with computer skills may have used it and can tell me if it will be easy.
I will be using a desktop computer for this. Any info good or bad will do.

Sorry I haven't, never even heard of it The only way I've had to sign things on the net is, download, sign, scan, send back It'll be interesting to know

Yes have used it many times. It's quite straight forward and may give you options to sign (squiggle) using a mouse or simply typing your name. It depends on how it's set up. There may be other fields or check boxes to fill in as well. When done, you should be able to save a copy before hitting the submit button.

I/we have used electronic signing for 3 different things over several years.
- Tax returns via Xero - Government Contract signing (can't remember method) - Conveyancing signing that I'm pretty sure was Docusign.

Well I have just signed the document but my wife has to sign as well but the thingy did not let us do that. There was no way to enable her signature so stuff everyone I just sent it as finished and the company can sort it out.
On all those self help videos about docusign I have not found one that shows how two people sign step by step. As usual with all tech issues, the help section is written by someone who knows how the system works but can not see it from a novices view, and some info is missing.

Thanks gerrym, I had a read through all that but did not find what I want.
On the docusign page where the signatures were, there was a yellow arrow pointing to my name with space to sign, I signed and then tried to find how my wife was to sign in space for her. Nothing there, went to "help" but not the info I needed, so clicked finished and away it went.
Most of the help info is for the sender and I am wondering if they sent it correctly. Will wait and see.

Ok sorted. Company rang me and I explained what happened and they are thinking it was because my wife and myself use the one email address. Apparently docusign does not like that. They resent the document with my signature and the yellow arrow for my wife to click and sign. What a messy way to do things.
The new way is not always the best way.
