OT, there are some breeds that have been bred or trained to behave in certain ways, but there are always exceptions.
A plumber friend had his house burgled while his two rottweilers were home.
I asked what the dogs did, and he said nothing.
My suggestion was to shoot the useless things. He replied that he was glad that they did nothing as that probably saved him getting sued.
Even the friendliest dog can act unpredictably.
My Vizsla Grand-dog, has an intense dislike of Greyhounds. Not sure if it is their look, smell or if they give a vibe.
On the worst end of the scale is where parents leave a young baby in a bassinette on the floor, beside the dog.
The dog my see the the indulged interloper as a threat to its position in the pecking order.
Each time it is like when a toddler gets run over in the driveway. The parents want to warn everyone else about the danger.

I still say it's the way the dog is brought up, how it's been treated Who knows how the woman treated her dogs when alone with them?
My parents used to breed German shepherds, I've been around them all my life, my son has 2, the youngest is a fully trained security attack dog
When she's on lead, she's on guard When she's wearing her work harness, I would not approach her She will only attack on command, but will guard Adam with her life When he's working in public with her, she wears a quick release muzzle
When she's off the leash, she's just a normal dog and plays with adults, kids and babies, has never shown aggression, I have to say she is never left alone with children, NO dog should be ever, EVER
