Gerry, as you travel around the countryside there are a lot of rural museums. Donate the clamps to one of them. If you have the rest of the bits, all the better to donate the package.

I keep out of museums. They may not let me leave.

I have a couple of those.
Being a tool hoarder I keep them as still handy as a clamp.
I have used them with a small piece of flat wood to lightly clamp an inner-tube repair using a cold patch, especially when the tube wants to naturally curl up in the patch area.
Maybe one day someone will invent a vulcanising patch that the do-gooders won't ban due fumes

Can you still get the repair kits? A lot of young people will not know what the clamps are for, i have used them and may have a clamp somewhere. I don't know how many people are using tubes any more. The last time I fixed a tube was on my wheelbarrow My daughter asked me what is it you do after you have pumped up your tyre Well, you spit on your finger and put a bit of spit on the valve if it bubbles it's leaking

Hans,
If you mean vulcanizing patches refer here... acmctf.proboards.com/post/5280/thread
I have tubes in our 2 pushbikes, 3 wheelbarrows, 2 trolleys and all of my old Fergie tractor tyres.
All up that is 15 tubes and I have to do the occasional repair.
Yes... always put a bit of spit on a valve after inflation. Recently I had to replace a valve as it leaked after putting in some air and it would not reseal.

I have a friend who has a motorhome and was convinced by someone that nitrogen in the tyres of his motorhome was THE way to go He has it in the motorhome and car I just fixed a leak in the tube of my sack truck last week, the filed it with air and put some spit on the valve 👍
