I remember an Antinov parked at Tullamarine for a few months Hans, back around 20 years ago. I was working on the Australian airlines new building. They used to contract those planes out and park them up for months at a time till a job came up. Any way this one was called up and they had to give it a good wash to get it air worthy.
So they used high pressure equipment etc. Well the spray of what ever it was they were using came through on to our site... A union stop work meeting was called and every body went home.
The cry was "Yus can't do that to uz". Yep around 200 men off for the day. I was supervising around 30 men on that job doing the cladding.

I am sure I saw a Anitnov at Cairns Airport a year ago, and Google Maps still shows it there on the outer.
