If things get real tough, someone could eat humble pie and ask the Light Rail Enthusiast to join.
But I am not offering.
er! Please Explain

Jock, the bloke that you refer to as TT (not referring to Tar Trecker) would come up with some wacky ideas that had me wondering what kind of meds he was on.
However, he was a prolific poster, that left the old forum under a cloud.

As we age and enter the Occies club, after caravanning for fifty years or so, we have developed a considerable caravan knowledge base which as mentioned earlier may attribute to the lack of maintenance and repair discussion.
We have shared and solved problems, aired opinions, and enjoyed friendly banter and I agree with Frank that there is warmth and respect shared among the members. Our old forum was much the same.
I have been spasmodic in forum discussion as I have become the "chief cook and bottle washer". We will not sell the van and will still spend the winter in NQ. At the moment I am trying to organise a system where I can have a game of golf once a week.
I did purchase four complete backing plates but when I went to fit them I decided that there was still a margin of safety for another for another couple of thousand k's. When I do fit them up I will renew the drums as the magnets have scored the surface considerably. Thanks to OT for digging up the older posts on brake replacement.

Great to see we may have spiked up a bit of interest in the camping and trips area...well done guys..I'm sure all those 'silent watchers' would have all sorts of interesting info and anecdotes...Let's hear from you.

I'm not a frequent poster of new items but sometimes comment on topics raised by others. Very rarely do I get a response to any comment I make which does make me wonder a bit. I don't think my comments are offensive or anything but does anybody actually read them?

Yes, your posts are read.
I would have to say that when I read anyone's post, I either agree with them, don't disagree enough to comment, or think that they are entitled to their opinion and I am not going to change it. Sometimes you will get a Thumbs Up "Like" as well.
If I think I can add value I will comment.
You are not alone Ken and we are all better off for everyone's comments whenever they are made.
